we had so much fun we are doing it again with the wonderful antelope in april! thanks to our good friend mark cisneros we are actually a live trio of sorts. still working on new stuff and looking forward to getting it on a record.

happy new year! well... chad and i finally decided to just bite the bullet and play a show opening for one of our favorites- school of language. It will more then likely be a duo but we have yet to work the kinks out. please come out as it will be interesting if only to see us fail miserably. also, we are still in woodshed stage on a lot of new stuff and plan to have an album completed this year. check back soon for updates.

just though I'd share some recent developments in the world of medications:
first: simply put, andrew and the band have parted ways. devin and i will continue writing and recording new material but medications will exist in a drummer-less state for the time being.
andrew has a new label called what delicate recordings with two records scheduled to be released this fall. check them out.
devin has been busy recording at silver sonya studios, playing guitar in josh larue's band the hold up, and playing drums with mary timony and beauty pill.
i've been touring with mary t. in support of her new record "the shapes we make" and playing on the occasional drum set with beauty pill--which leads me to our second announcement:
In anticipation of a faraquet singles compilation to be released by dischord (release date tba), the re-formed band (sans jeff) will be playing shows in brazil this september as well a show (or two) in the states (with jeff) this fall. check the dischord site as well as the faraquet myspace site for updates.

back home after 2 amazing weeks in brazil. muito obrigado to fran & renata for making it happen, sergio, marcelo & richard (debate) for the inspiring sets nightly, our amazing driver luis, all of the bands we played with and everyone who came out to the shows.

haven't updated in a while but we've actually been pretty busy. we're writing quite a bit and planning to start recording in april for what we hope to be a fall '07 release. just played a really great show last weekend in brooklyn to benefit our friends j. and janet and their son cal and next week we will embark on a small european tour. also, devin is now engineering at chad clark and t.j. lipple's studio called silver sonya studios which shares a space with inner ear studios. the mary timony band's new record "the shapes we make", featuring chad & devin and produced by devin, will be coming out in may on kill rock stars so look for them on tour in may/june. they are also doing some shows in march. so, lots going on and we hope to see you in europe.

thank you, to all of you that came to our shows last week. no new shows booked right now but we are working on new material. keep your eye out for more. also, chad will be on tour with beauty pill next week. unfortunately, devin will not be playing on these shows due to his involvement in recording the new mary timony record.

those of you wondering what andrew becker does when he's not drumming should check out his appearence on the discovery health channel show "dr. know." he co-stars in the episode entitled "gender breakers." go to the discovery channel to find out when it airs. we expect that this will be a milestone in his "career."

just back from europe and we're getting some much needed rest. we had an amazing time and really want to thank all of you who helped put the shows together and take care of us. also, thank you to those who came to the shows to support us. it was great to meet so many people that care so much about music and community. well, we will be writing new material for the beginning of the year so not many live shows are scheduled, but keep a lookout for updates.

we're back from our first trip to japan and we want to thank everyone at dischord, kensuke at catune, and journal spy effort for all of their hard work in making this tour happen. we had an amazing time and met so many kind and gracious people--thanks to all of the bands we played with as well as everyone who came out to the shows.
in other news...
our first full-length, entitled "your favorite people all in one place," will be released by dischord on may 30 in europe and june 13 in the u.s. the tracklist is as follows:
